Respects to Baldur

Almenn umræða um allt sem tengist Auroracoin
- General discussion about the Auroracoin ecosystem

by Skarfurinn » 22 Apr 2015 21:11

I would like to dedicate this thread to Baldur who has turned out to be a man of his word. I truly believe that what Baldur has started with Auroracoin has the possibilities to impact the world in ways that are unforeseen.

I have not agreed with all of Baldurs decisions but I have never believed him to be a scammer nor did anyone that had the opportunity go be in communication with him when he started this project. I have the greatest respect for him and what he has started here and I'm glad to have the opportunity to continue his legacy along with the awesome people that are supporting this project.

For others who haven't seen what has just happened then Baldur has collected the rest of the premine to this burn address: AURburnAURburnAURburnAURburn7eS4Rf

Baldur, my hat is off to you.

great news.

I didn't expect it to be honest. I thought we'd need a hard-fork.

This is much more elegant, thank you Balduro, you go down in the history books and are a good example that not everyone in crypto is a scammer.

I draw my hat!

I have to agree with what skarfur said in his first post. AUR is a great social experiment, probably one of the most interesting ones since Bitcoin.

Seeing the premine burn (I'm still sitting here, gazing at the fire) is such a relief... now we can look into the future again without that creeping fear.

Iceland is the perfect testbed for widespread crypto adoption. Icelanders have the opportunity to show the world it can work. They can go down in the history books - urhm - history blockchain I hope ;)

My respect and thanks to you my friend! I won't say I never doubted you, but my faith in your honesty was great! We can now move on and finish your great legacy!

Thanks for finishing this epic saga. Unlike the Icelandic sagas Baldur didn't die. Loki and his mistletoe missed the mark.

I hope we will see you here with us in the future.
