what mining hardware do you recommend for a home-type beginner in aur mining?

is GPU mining dead for aur too?

Hi Polarbear,

Welcome to Auroracoin! Mining Auroracoin for now is Scrypt only. This means GPU mining won't be profitable I guess. What I can tell you though is that some awesome changes are on the way that will make you GPU worthwhile again!

If you do want to try GPU mining, maybe it' a good idea to try http://hashgoal.com This is a pool that lets you mine profitable coins and get you paid out in AUR. Quite an awesome setup :)

I am new at this, bought an older gridseed blade, that works fine. but what are you using LTEX? I am ready to buy some asic based mining stuff to get better rates :)

what are you using, and if I would be buying some more, what would you recommend?
